A hemangiopericytoma (HPC) is a type of soft tissue sarcoma that originates in the pericytes in the walls of capillaries.

It was characterized in 1942.[1][2]

Depending of the grade of the sarcoma, it is treated with surgery,[3] chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy.
